I like the coordination of the highs in relation to the mids and the bass very much, as they manage to counteract the heat adequately and give the BL-03 a certain lightness. The frequency response also feels quite homogeneous, without strong drops in the transitions, which you often notice with many cheaper multi-friction IEMs.
Overall, I would describe the sound as harmonious, musical and natural, with a sympathetic bass emphasis and good three-dimensionality.
